The City Awards, established in 2015 by The City newspaper – part of News Corps. With over 9000 readers voting for their favourite businesses in 20 categories in an online survey, a judging panel then select a winner from the narrow finalist field as determined by public vote.
“Supporting small business is a huge part of what we do every week in The City and these annual awards are a great way to take stock of those special people and places which make our city unique,” said Messenger Community News editor-in-chief, Jessica Leo.
